High qualityPbSenanostructural films arepreparedbyachemicalbathdeposition(CBD)method.The experimentalsurfacestudiesincludingscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM)andX-raydiffraction(XRD) havebeenusedtoanalyzePbSenanostructureindicatedhighpurityofsamplewithoutcracksorholesin nanostructure scale.Quantityofmaterialisrelativelyhardtomeasureaccuratelyforthin films. RutherfordBackscatteringSpectroscopy(RBS)wasusedtoobtainstoichiometryaswellasthin film thickness. Forallnanoparticlessize(50–250 nm)wefoundthatthePbtoSeratio(Pb:Se)variationin depth isapproximatelyconstantvalueof0.4270.06untilneartothesubstratewhereit'svalue diminishes.
