N-Heterocyclic carbenes (NHC), the representative stable and botteled species of which is 1,3-di(adamentyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (Ida), first reported by Ardengue et al. 25 years ago; its stability benefits from factors such as electronic, aromatic and spatial, owing it viability to the mesomeric effects on nitrogen atoms. P-Heterocyclic carbenes (PHC) are phosphorous analogues of NHCs. In this study, We investigated computationally philicity and stsbility of these carbenes.
