In this work, xMoO3-(60-x)V2O5-40TeO2 amorphous samples with different molar contents of MoO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 60) have been prepared by common melt-quenching method. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) at different heating rates (φ) has been used to thermal analyze. Also, the effects of the heating rate and MoO3 content on glass transition temperature has been studied. The glass transition temperature (Tg), the temperature corresponding to the onset of crystallization (Tx) and also the crystallization temperature (TCr) have been obtained at different heating rates. Using DSC, the compositional dependence of Tg has been determined and so, an empirical equation has been deduced which relates the glass transition temperature with the MoO3 content.
