This paper presents the results of an extensive literature review on the topic of thermal comfort adaptations in the open space of vernacular neighborhoods. These spaces which are known Chaman has remained in Hamadan city. Chaman spaces are valuable in Specifications of cultural, religious, economic, urban development, traffic and climatical design. At first the necessity and importance of studying these spaces and useful results obtained from studying referred. In the second chapter, the history of urban open spaces is reviewed. Then in the third chapter, Chaman spaces as a neighborhood center are defined and examined their history. In fourth part, thermal comfort in urban open spaces and a variety of comfort measures and indicators that can be used on Chaman spaces, is introduced. These indicators can be gain by calculating, graphing, or simulating of the questionnaire. In summing standards of thermal comfort for Chaman spaces is investigated and appropriate measures will be introduced.
