An experimental trial with 2x2x2 factorial design was conducted to assess the individual and combined effects of mycotoxins including OA (0 and 1.0 ppm), AF (0 and 0.5 ppm) and high grade sodium bentonite (HGSB) (0 and 1.0 %) in broilers. Significant depression of body weight, feed consumption, serum protein and serum albumin were noticed due to OA, AF and OA+AF. The relative weights of pancreas, spleen and bursa were either by inclusion of OA, AF, OA+AF or HGSB not altered significantly. Increase in relative weights of liver and gizzard were observed in OA, AF and OA+AF. Decrease in serum protein levels were noticed in OA+AF group, increase in GGT and decrease in serum protein, ALT and thymus were observed. The anti body titers against NDV and IBDV were significantly (P<0.05) decreased in all the treatment groups compared to control. High Grade Sodium Bentonite reduced the toxicity of aflatoxin and it was marginally ameliorating the effect OA +AF on some parameters.
