: In this paper, the simulation of the optical interference phenomenon in light scattering caused by two nanoparticles with different materials, one plasmonic and the other dielectric, is addressed. The goal of this simulation is to examine the precise effect of the detector in recording interference patterns. To this end, a comprehensive programming code has been developed by the authors in the Mathematica environment. This code, by receiving the specifications of the nanoparticles and the characteristics of the incident light, is capable of simulating the interference created by this scattering on a detector.
