Introduction
Mohsen Nazarzadeh Zare was born in 1983 in Dezful, Iran. He received his PhD in Higher Education Management from the University of Tehran in 2016, where he defended his doctoral dissertation entitled “Designing and Explaining a Competency Model for Faculty Members in International Interactions.” He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Sciences at Malayer University, Iran. His academic and research interests focus on the internationalization of universities, world-class universities, academic inbreeding, and boundary-spanning leadership in higher education. Dr. Nazarzadeh Zare has an extensive publication record and has authored or co-authored numerous scholarly articles in both national and international journals. His research has been published in leading outlets such as the International Journal of Educational Management, Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education, Higher Education Quarterly, Higher Education Governance and Policy, Research in Educational Administration and Leadership, and Education + Training. His work makes a significant contribution to understanding leadership, governance, and organizational dynamics in higher education systems, particularly in developing and transitional contexts.
