Abstract

Let R_4 = F_p^m+uF_p^m+u^2F_p^m+u^3F_p^m, where p is a prime and u^4 = 0. In this paper, we characterize the structure of cyclic codes of length p^s over R_4. These codes will be classified into sixteen distinct types.
