Densities and viscosities for binary mixtures of diethylene glycol with 2-propanol up to 2-heptanol were measured at various temperatures and ambient pressure. From experimental data, excess molar volumes Vm E and viscosity deviations Δη were calculated and correlated by the Redlich−Kister equation to obtain the binary coefficients and the standard deviations. Excess molar volumes, Vm E , are negative for mixtures of diethylene glycol with 2-propanol up to 2-pentanol and positive for mixtures of 2-hexanol and 2-heptanol. The Peng−Robinson−Stryjek− Vera (PRSV) equation of state (EOS) was used to predict the densities and viscosities of the studied mixtures
