چکیده

Cubic structuredmanganeseferritenanoparticlesweresynthesizedbyathermaltreatmentmethod followedbycalcinationatvarioustemperaturesfrom723to873K.Inthisinvestigation,weused polyvinylpyrrolidon(PVP)asacappingagenttocontroltheagglomerationofthenanoparticles.The characterizationstudieswereconductedbyX-raydiffraction(XRD)andtransmissionelectron microscopy(TEM).Theaverageparticlesizesofmanganeseferritenanoparticlesweredeterminedby TEM, whichincreasedwiththecalcinationtemperaturefrom12to22nmandtheyhadgood agreementwithXRDresults.Fouriertransforminfraredspectroscopyconfirmedthepresenceofmetal oxide bandsatalltemperaturesandtheabsenceoforganicbandsat873K.Magneticpropertieswere demonstratedbyavibratingsamplemagnetometer,whichshowedasuper-paramagneticbehaviorfor all samplesandalsosaturationmagnetization(Ms) increasesfrom3.06to15.78emu/gbyincreasing the calcinationtemperature.Themagneticpropertieswerealsoconfirmedbytheuseofelectron paramagneticresonancespectroscopy,whichrevealedtheexistenceofunpairedelectronsandalso measuredpeak-to-peaklinewidth,resonantmagneticfieldandthe g-factor.
