This study investigated the synthesis of Bismuth ferrite (BiFeo3) nanoparticles that were prepared by a simple thermal-treatment method by using a solution that contained polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) as a capping agent and Bi and Fe nitrates as alternative sources of metal .calcination was conducted at temperatures between 673 and 773K. Effect of pulverization time on the formation of BiFeO3 nanoparticles was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR).
