Abstract

Gerbera jamsonii flower belong Asteraceae family. This ornamental plant due to beautiful flowers and very diverse, Postharvest vase life convenient and inexpensive causing growing demand and also its production. Understanding the real needs of the plant, proper nutrition and lack of nutrients will play an important role in the successful production this product. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of molybdenum deficiency on quantitative and qualitative features gerbera flower. This experiment in a completely randomized design with two treatments (base nutrient without molybden, base nutrient with molybden) And three times in the year 1390 in Research Greenhouse of Agriculture faculty was done martyr Bahonar pakdasht. Characteristics flower durability, peduncle length, peduncle diameter, performance or the number of flowers, flower diameter and leaf area were measured. The results showed that the absence effect of molybden on the yeild or the number of flowers produced in per plant in two treatments were applied was significant difference at the 5% level. So that number of flowers in per plant was 6 in the nutrient treatment with molybedon and the number of flowers in per plant in nutrient treatment without Molybedun 4, respectively. Also molybedon absence effect on flower durability was significant difference at the 5% level. So that in basic nutrient with molybedon 12 day and nutrient without molybedon was 9/33 day. In addition, peduncle length in two treatments were applied was significant difference at the 1% level. peduncle length in basic nutrient treatment with molybdenum 33/60 and in basic nutrient treatment without molybedon was 33/50 cm. Between treatments in measured characteristics, flower diameter (in nutrient medium containing molybedon 9/33 and nutrient without molybedon was 9 cm ), peduncle diameter (in nutrient medium containing molybedon 8 and nutrient without molybedon was 7/1 cm) And there was no significant difference in leaf area.
