چکیده The nickel hexacyanoferrate/graphene oxide (NiHCF/GO) hybrid electrode was fabricated using a two-step strategy including hydrothermal deposition of 3D conductive GO scaffold followed by layer-by-layer chemical deposition of NiHCF nanoparticles on stainless steel (S.S.) mesh. In order to characterize the as-prepared electrodes, XRD, FE-SEM and FT-IR analyses were used. The psedocapacitive performance of the electrodes was investigated using cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge/discharge and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements. The obtained results show a high specific capacitance of 465.7 F g-1 and 565.6 F g-1 (at a current density of 1 A g-1) in 0.5 M Na2SO4 aqueous electrolyte for NiHCF and NiHCF/GO electrode, respectively. The energy density and power density for NiHCF/GO composite electrode were obtained to be 49.8 Wh kg-1 and 400 W kg-1, respectively. In the hybrid electrode, the as-obtained unique structure provides more active sites for electrochemical reactions, as well as outstanding cycling stability (84% capacitance retention after 2000 cycles). Due to the optimal capacity and structure, this hybrid electrode can be used in the practical applications of supercapacitors.
