The principal purpose of this investigation is to study the effect of cooperative learning on the critical thinking of Malayer's high school students. For this purpose, the semi-experimental research method is used consisting of one hundred and sixteen students (Sixty four students in the experimental group, Fifty two students in the control group), chosen randomly. Critical thinking test, is utilized for evaluation of critical thinking of the students. The students in the experimental group were educated for ten sessions by the cooperative method, while the peers in the control group continued to the usual method. The investigation results demonstrate the significant effect of cooperative learning education on critical thinking of students (P<0.01).
